Today we see huge pages of political advertisement and without saying further, you know who they are from.
One of them said, you have no choice but to vote for BN... what the hack! They had manipulated us out of our political rights through marginalisation, corruption, abuse of power and fundamental human liberty.
This type of insinuation is a slap on us. As if adding more salt to our wounds, some people put up equally big ads, declaring gratefulness to the BN. They are grateful, perhaps the BN did not put their dirty hands into their cookie jar.
Warnings also directed against urban community with denial of development, should it falls to opposition. Funny thing that urban or city areas appear more economically vibrant without them compared to the rural poor where they have their dirty hands, wonder how much being filtered down to development.
.
Again believe it or not, just today, received an email from my brother in Penang and this is what he has to say:
The mammoth crowd last night at the DAP ceramah in Han Chiang High School (Private) field.
Many more outside the fence.
Probably around 50,000.
You will never see this in the papers.
Overall mood is like the anti-Chen Sui Bien rally in Taipei which I observed when I was there in Sept '06.
Collection taken at closing was at least RM130,000 and counting because the final tally was still incomplete at closing.
One of my engineers is a DAP supporter in charge of collection and the counting of money.
He said there were bundles of notes stuffed in envelopes thrown into the collection boxes.
One of the bundles contained RM10,000 from a stranger.
There were also many smaller bundles of RM500~RM1000.
.
The whole country is in the mood for change, so let us not spoil it for them, there may never be such opportunity again, should they tighten their grip in the next election.
.
THIS IS A CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN

P/S: This will be my last political entry, like all law abiding malaysians, campaign stop at 12midnight today.
