National Mosque & Islamic Arts Museum

Last Sunday, the gang decided to pay a visit at the National Mosque area.
This is the first time I actually entered a mosque as I never really know what is the proper attire and always thought that non-Muslims were not allowed to enter the place.

Although we had brought a scarf, it was not enough for us to cover up that we were told to wear these purple clothes. This specifically only for women. Men who wear shorts or sleeveless clothes, too bad lah. One of our friend had to stay back downstairs and wait for us.

Entering the National Mosque

Where's my feet?!
The purple robe made me feel like a hobbit in fact. It was extremely long and big.
All had only 1 size.. Free size.

Nice view...

Reflections on the glassed walls
After the National Mosque, we moved to the Islamic Arts Museum. The designs were beautiful but the facts were quite vague. It's quite difficult to appreciate the items as the explanations were either too brief or some of the meanings are missing. In the museum itself, we're not allowed to take photos. It kinda defeats the purpose as there are many who can just use the camera phone and most of other places, cameras can be used.

No conjunction. Just wanted to pay a visit to places we never go to. Plus to test our photography skills.
